I'm Jenn. I left San Francisco. I also write Infinite Lives.

I started a Tumblr because sometimes you just want to post a ton of quotes, or photos of your Blythe dolls, or links to Radar articles, and even though no one says so outright, you can tell your Twitter friends are getting sick of it.

I used this to make my little service icons. My personal blog is here and my time capsule is here. If you're creepy, you can find comments I've left all over the Internet here.

I downloaded Tweetdeck today. I like it.
But its icon is SO UGLY. It’s black and yellow. It looks like a hazard sign.
I finally paid for Candy Bar 3 last week. I have been playing with my icons since.
Yesterday, I googled around for maybe an hour, trying to remember the name of Todd Oldham’s favorite painter-of-birds.
Charles Harper. That was the painter’s name.
Todd Oldham is from Corpus Christi, Texas. I found that out when I was reading about Corpus Christi on Wikipedia.
One search term I kept entering was “mid-century children’s book bird.” I also typed “beatnik birds,” which is how I describe the birds on my curtain.
My favorite book about birds is Birds Every Child Should Know (1907) by Neltje Blanchan.
Corpus Christi, Texas is a popular travel destination for birdwatchers and windsurfers.
I have a curtain with beatnik birds on it. It hangs in front of a window that has been WALLED IN. I think walled-in windows and fireplaces are so scary.
Tim Biskup paints a lot of beatnik birds.

In conclusion,

I literally shrieked when I saw this.
